The following are typical issues you may face when configuring VXLAN:
- Incorrect VTEP VMKNic teaming policy
- Incorrect VLAN ID for VTEP
- Incomplete IP address for VTEP
- DHCP is selected for the VTEP VMKNic IP addressing but the DHCP server is not available or is unreachable
- VXLAN was installed on the ESXi host but not cleaned up properly and requires a host reboot
