
Configuring vSphere Distributed Switch general and dvPort group settings
You can change the settings of a vDS by using the vSphere Web Client and selecting the desired vDS in the Networking inventory.
Then right-click and choose Settings | Edit Settings..., or select the Configure tab and click on the Edit... button in the Properties menu:

The General settings of a vDS are quite similar to what you can see during the creation of a new vDS, but now there is the ports counter and the option to assign a name for each uplink. You can change MTU and NIOC settings, and also modify the number of uplinks.

To change the dvPort settings, you can right-click on a dvPort and choose Edit Settings..., or again use the Configure tab of the dvPort.
The general options are exactly the same as discussed during the creation of a dvPort.
